The Northern B divisional volleyball tournament is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 6, through Saturday, Nov. 8, at Wolf Point High School.
First-round matches on Thursday feature Malta meeting Shelby at 10 a.m., Harlem playing Chinook at 11:45 a.m., Choteau fcing Glasgow at 1:30 p.m. and Fairview taking on Fairfield at 3:15 p.m.
The top two teams advance to the state tournament.

Poplar’s boys placed fourth in the team standings at the Class B state cross country meet held in Missoula on Saturday, Oct. 25. The Indians finished with 167 points.
The top three teams were state champion Harlem with 53 points, Ennis with 126 and Manhattan with 139 points. Wolf Point was 20th with 512 points.

In the girls’ standings, Brockton placed ninth as a team with 85 points and Frazer was 16th at 173 points. Drummond won the team title with 15 points.
