Brockton Boys Down Savage

Brockton’s boys’ basketball team won its home opener against Savage by a 73-47 final on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Brockton jumped out to a 24-8 lead in the first quarter. Jared Fast Horse scored eight points during the quarter.

The half-time score was 41-22. Brockton increased its advantage to 57-35 in the third quarter.

Brockton outscored Savage by a 16-12 gap in the fourth period. Tefton Bear had eight points in the period.

Top scorers for Brockton were Fast Horse with 23, Bear with 17 and Colter Nygard with 13.

Adding seven points each were Josh Firemoon and Miles Boxer Jr. Also scoring were Ronnie Black Dog with three and Weston Lambert with three.

Leading Savage were Tucker Morgan with 15 points and Boden Jorgensen with 14 points.
