Two speed studies requested by the Roosevelt County commissioners last summer are making progress in the Montana Department of Transportation’s process for traffic changes. The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 119 calls from March 2-8. The calls included the following: March 2 Deputies received a report from near Poplar regarding that someone was yelling from a suspicious vehicle. Deputies found that the vehicle was broken down. When deputies talked with individuals in the vehicle, they were told that someone will come to tow them into town. March
