Culbertson native Destiny Thompson is o_ to a solid start in her volleyball season for Mayville State University in North Dakota. Her top matches this season have included five kills, five points and two digs against Valley City State, four kills against Hastings College of Nebraska and two blocks against Briar Cli_ of Iowa. The Culbertson Cowboys delivered big plays on both sides of the ball Saturday, forcing five turnovers and defeating the Forsyth Doggies 47-38 in a hardfought road contest.
