The Froid Bulls fought o the Wolf Point Yellowjackets on both games of a home double-header held in Wolf Point on Tuesday, June 23. The Bulls jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the second inning, only to see Wolf Point battle back to 4-3 in the bottom of the second inning. Froid, however, went on to earn a 14-4 victory. Northern Rodeo Association competitions were held in Culbertson and Poplar during the weekend. Culbertson held its Frontier Days rodeos on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13. Local Bigler, 14, tried his hand at the bareback bronc riding event both nights at the Frontier Days Rodeo in Culbertson this weekend. Bigler attended the Creator’s Game Bronc Riding Clinic at the Poplar Rodeo Grounds in May and learned from expert riders how to participate safely and successfully.
