Cowgirls Earn Victory Over Lustre Squad


Culbertson fought off Lustre in a non-conference volleyball match that went four sets in Lustre on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The Cowgirls came away with a 25-15, 18-25, 25-15, 25-19 victory. The serving of Stella Fox and net play of Catherine Donaldson led Culbertson to an 18-8 advantage in the first set. The Lions were able to battle back to 19-13 on aces by Hannah Brown and a kill by Aleah Fast.

Bainville’s volleyball squad played well and stopped Culbertson, 25-7, 25-11, 25-14, at home on Thursday, Sept. 25. Hailey Berwick finished the match with 13 kills, 15 digs and two aces. Chandi Johnson accounted for five kills, six digs, two aces and a block. Lila Butikofer scored two aces, four kills, six digs and a block. Addison Hansen added 10 kills and a block. Casey Myers
