The Bainville Bulldogs lost a tough volleyball match in three sets against a strong Richey/Lambert squad last week. The Fusion scored a 26-24, 28-26, 25-21, victory. Bainville opened its volleyball season at a tournament in Glendive on Saturday, Aug. 29. The Bulldogs played four pool play matches and ended up second in their pool before losing out in tournament play in a hard-fought match. Bainville will play at Richey/Lambert on Thursday, Sept. 3.

Both the varsity and junior varsity girls put together strong showings during tournament action, with the two squads even finding themselves across the net from one another along the way.
