Brockton Girls Stop Savage, 79-34

Brockton’s girls’ basketball team enjoyed a strong first quarter and defeated Savage, 79-34, on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Brockton gained a 29-4 advantage in the first quarter. Tamryn Bauer struck for 13 points in the quarter.

The margin was increased to 39-16 at the half and 61-20 at the end of the third quarter. Quintana Young scored 15 points in the third period.

Brockton’s top scorers were Bauer with 31 and Young with 29 points. Taylor Cummins added five and Skylar Cummins had four points.

Also scoring were Azalea Clampitt with three, Reese DeCoteau with two, Marlene Fish with two, Claire Clampitt with two and Madalyn Fish with one.
