Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad fought off Savage by a 40-31 margin at home on Saturday, Jan. 25. The Bulldogs led by a 1716 half-time margin and increased the gap to 23-16. Savage, however, came back to close the margin to 25-22 at the end of the third quarter. After the Warriors pulled to a 29-29 deadlock, Bainville gained a 31-29 lead on a basket by Elsie Wilson with 3:26 remaining.

Starting in 2025-2026, the Eastern C will consist of 19 schools including division newcomers Ekalaka, Jordan, Plevna, Broadus, Terry and Wibaux.
