Gov. Greg Gianforte has announced the winners of the 2023 Governor’s Youth Hunting Story Contest.
“Every youth hunter in Montana should be proud of the hunting legacy they’re helping carry on,” Gianforte said. “With nearly 400 submissions, we had many great hunting stories from youth hunters across the state. I’m thrilled to welcome the 10 winners to the State Capitol in the new year

The Culbertson Cowboys fought off Froid/Lake, 45-43, in District 2C basketball action on Thursday, Dec. 21.
The Cowboys held a 3431 advantage at the end of the third quarter. Still ahead by a 38-36 margin, the Cowboys increased their lead to 41-36 on a three-pointer by Nyreece Halvorson with 4:21 remaining.
