Urdahl Retires From Army


Sgt. First Class Lewis Urdahl has recently retired from the U.S. Army, after serving 20 years. He is the son of Doug and Sandie Urdahl. Lewis, a native of Froid, served as a combat engineer and jumpmaster with a parachutist badge. He made 67 jumps. During that time, he was deployed to Iraq for one year and Afghanistan for three one-year tours. The last tour was on the Afghan/ Pakistan border.

Bulldogs Earn Win Over Froid/Lake


After a tight first half, Bainville’s girls’ basketball team stepped up its play in the second half to defeat Froid/Lake by a 45-23 final. Ahead by only a 16-12 halftime margin and 18-14 early in the third quarter, Bainville rolled off six straight points as Elsie Wilson connected on a three-pointer and pullup jumper and Brecklyn Pippenger sank a free throw.
