Cowboys Fall To Poplar, Fairview


Poplar’s boys’ basketball squad enjoyed a strong offensive night and won in Culbertson by a 76-41 final on Tuesday, Jan. 23. The Indians jumped out to a 13-6 lead in the first quarter and increased the gap to 3914 at the half. Poplar tallied 24 points in the third quarter for a 63-27 advantage. Delray Lilley led the Indians with 24 points. Geordy Medicine Cloud added 11 points.

CHS Speech, Drama Competes At State


The end of the speech and drama season produces mixed feelings for Culbertson coach Jeri Gustafson. “The last weekend in January is always bittersweet for all speech, drama and debate teams as the season culminates with the state tournament.” A total of 323 students from 48 schools took part in the 2024 B/C State Tournament. Six students represented CHS: Samantha Annett, Florian Budurean,
