The Lady Wolves edged Harlem in five sets during the District 2B volleyball tournament in Wolf Point on Friday, Oct. 29. Wolf Point scored a 14-25, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 15-9, victory. The Wolf Point Wolves earned seventh place in the team standings at the Class B state cross-country meet held in Missoula on Saturday, Oct. 23. Wolf Point’s boys finished with 179 points. Poplar’s Jazmin Gorder placed 11th at the Class B state cross-country meet to earn All-State recognition. The senior finished with a time of 21:05.10. Broadwater’s Emma Stolte was the individual champion at 19:18.91. Poplar placed ninth in the team standings with 278 points. The top three teams were Red Lodge, Broadwater and Columbus. Reinita Irizarry placed 34th at 22:22.17.
