Poplar’s golf program has a new coach and several new players this season. Brock Copenhaver is guiding the Indians’ golf program this year. Gorder To Wrestle For Minot State University


Poplar’s two-time state wrestling champion Jazmin Gorder has signed to compete with Minot State University’s wrestling program. Gorder said she knew she was going to attend Minot State after a visit to the school late in 2021. “I had my mind made up. I just didn’t tell anybody,” the senior laughed. Minot is entering its first season of having a women’s wrestling program.

Lustre Christian’s boys’ basketball season came to a sudden ending when the Lions lost to Fairview, 39-38, in a challenge game at the Eastern C divisional tournament in Sidney on Saturday, March 5. The Lions appeared heading for the state tournament when they struck for four straight points on baskets by Kolden Hoversland and Jasiah Hambira to take a 31-28 lead with 3:51 left in regulation.
