Culbertson Town Council Considers Water Pits Lease


The Culbertson Town Council held its regular meeting on Monday, April 13. JR Ewing, Magnus Services LLC, spoke to the council about leasing two freshwater storage pits for local fracking operations. Review Of County Jail Receives Good Marks


Roosevelt County commissioners said a walk-through of the county jail by commissioners and Montana Association of Counties officials went extremely well late in March. Commissioner Gordon Oelkers explained that a walk-through is required each year by Montana statute. Commissioner Robert Toavs said the peer review resulted in an impressive score of 95 percent.
