Culbertson Town Council Considers Water Pits Lease
The Culbertson Town Council held its regular meeting on Monday, April 13. JR Ewing, Magnus Services LLC, spoke to the council about leasing two freshwater storage pits for local fracking operations. The council decided to table Ewing’s offer of $25,000 for a six month to one year provisional lease.

Community Foundation Grant
Officers with the Culbertson Area Community Foundation presented a check to the Culbertson Women’s Club April 13. Club members said they are planning to use the $5,000 donation for beautification efforts at the new pool bathhouse, including tables. Family Night Provides Meals, Friends To Residents
It’s a time for the community to come together for socializing and enjoying a great meal the first Wednesday of each month at the Bainville Fire Hall.
Beau Anderson, member of the Faith Fellowship Church in Bainville, said the free meals are offered monthly from September through April as a form of ministry by the church. This is the sixth season of the activities.

Review Of County Jail Receives Good Marks
Roosevelt County commissioners said a walk-through of the county jail by commissioners and Montana Association of Counties officials went extremely well late in March.
Commissioner Gordon Oelkers explained that a walk-through is required each year by Montana statute.
