Bulldogs Earn Win Over Cowgirls

Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad enjoyed a strong first half and downed Culbertson, 48-32, at home on Friday, Jan 12.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 9-3 lead in the first quarter. Bainville then ran off 14 points in the second quarter for a 23-9 advantage.

Bainville held a 31-17 lead after three quarters of play.

Leading the Bulldogs to the victory were Elsie Wilson with 19 and Hailey Berwick with 17 points.

Also scoring for Bainville were Addison Hansen with four, Miah Pippenger with two, Kendra Romo with two, Brecklyn Pippenger with two and Lila Butikofer with two points.

Top scorers for Culbertson were Destiny Thompson with 11 and Mariana Burciaga with nine points.

Rounding out the scoring were Ayden Ator with six, Payton Labatte with three, Leandra Perkins with two and Ivy Colvin with one point.
