The Montana High School Association’s executive board made several decisions during a meeting on June 22. The board awarded the 2023 Class C state golf tournament to Anaconda Hills Golf Course in Great Falls for May 15-17. A total of 15 teams braved the hot weather to compete in the AGC women’s two-person scramble at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Club on Saturday, July 16. Culbertson Plans For School Projects

With additional revenue coming in through oil revenue, the Culbertson School Board discussed different projects during its June meeting. The increased price of oil has resulted in $300,000 available for projects. Lora Finnicum, district clerk, said the board’s priority was safety while determining projects to accomplish. The mother/daughter team of Carly and Ayla Rush earned top honors at the Fort Peck Women’s Walleye Tournament on Saturday, July 16. The Wolf Point team took first with a total of 30.24 pounds.
