Horse Clinic, Healing Ride Come To Frazer
Creator’s Game organizers hosted a horsemanship clinic at Frazer June 16. Clinicians helped young people learn about horses and horse culture while getting opportunities to ride and gather other skills.
On June 17, a healing ride was held from Nashua to Frazer. Organizers said in a social media post the ride was “16 miles of prayers and good energy.”

Fort Union Rendezvous Wraps Up
Wolf Point’s Jacob Boysun told the Northern Plains Independent that the 2022 Fort Union Rendezvous saw increased attendance at the annual Kids Day and improvements to the gift shop.
“This year was great,” said Boysun. “I’ve been doing it for five years. The gift shop did really well this weekend and I think we had like 700 kids show up for Kids Day on Thursday.”

Yellow Jackets Compete During Busy Schedule
The Wolf Point American Legion baseball team had a hectic schedule last week.
Wolf Point hosted the Agland Froid squad on Tuesday, June 14.
The first game was tied in the fifth inning, but the Bulls pulled away to win by the 10-run rule.
Froid also won the second game by the 10-run rule.
The Yellow Jackets then competed at a tournament in Glendive during the weekend.

Wolf Point Girls Post Home Victory
Wolf Point’s major softball team emerged with a 13-12 victory over Froid/Lake during home action on Tuesday, June 14.
The game was deadlocked at 10-10 heading into the final inning. After Froid/Lake scored twice in the top of the frame, the Yellow Jackets accounted for a two-out inning to earn the victory.
The Yellow Jackets have only one loss this season. The defeat came in Plentywood.
Wolves Play At Tournaments In Glendive
Wolf Point’s boys’ and girls’ basketball squads each competed at the Dawson Community College’s basketball tournament in Glendive during the weekend.
The Wolves finished with a 2-2 record in the boys’ division.
Wolf Point’s girls had a 2-3 record.
Opponents included Broadus, Circle, Lockwood, Roundup and Lockwood.
