The Froid-Lake Red Hawks accounted for 44 points in the first quarter and downed Brockton, 83-0, at home on Saturday, Sept. 30. The Red Hawks held a 58-0 half-time advantage and a 77-0 lead after three quarters of play. Froid/Lake’s first four touchdowns came on the defensive end on a 28-yard interception return by Mason Dethman, a 26-yard fumble recovery by Daniel Forizs, an 11-yard fumble

Froid/Lake’s volleyball team knocked off Nashua in three straight sets on Thursday, Sept. 28. The Red Hawks won by a 25-9, 25-21, 25-18 final. Froid/Lake’s Mara Salvevold enjoyed a solid match with seven aces, eight kills and a block. Jaeleigh Davidson scored eight kills. Lilly Johnson had a block. Addison Elvsaas finished with 12 assists. Alexa Nelson accounted for six digs.

Culbertson pounded Nashua in three straight sets during conference volleyball action on Thursday, Sept. 22. The Cowgirls won by a 2512, 25-12, 25-14 final. Destiny Thompson led Culbertson’s attack with 16 kills. The senior finished with two blocks and three digs. Ayden Ator enjoyed a solid match with 15 aces, three kills, five digs and nine assists.
