District 2C Girls Receive Honors

District 2C Girls Receive Honors


Five players from District 2C have been selected to the Class C All-State girls’ basketball squad. The players include Culbertson’s senior Makena Hauge, Froid/Lake’s senior Dasani Nesbit, Circle’s freshman Madeline Moline, Plentywood’s senior Annie Kaul and Plentywood’s senior Emma Brensdal. Hauge and Brensdal were each All-State performers last year as well. Voted to the District

Six standouts from the District 2C boys’ basketball have been voted to the Class C All-State team. Scobey downed Culbertson by a 43-39 final in an exciting third-place game at the Eastern C divisional girls’ basketball tournament in Wolf Point on Friday, March 3. Red Hawks Lose Contest At Buzzer


A three-pointer at the buzzer ended the season for Froid/Lake’s boys’ basketball team at the Eastern C divisional tournament on Saturday, March 4. Plentywood’s Carson Solberg hit an off-balanced shot from three-point range to edge the Red Hawks, 53-50, on Saturday morning.
