The Spartans struck for the game’s first nine points until Addison Hansen hit a 16-footer with 2:43 left in the first quarter. Six points by Aanstad in the final 2:28 led Scobey to a 16-4 lead at the end of the period.

Bainville’s Lila Butikofer scored to open the second quarter. Free throws by Elsie Wilson and Hailey Berwick pulled the Bulldogs to 1810. Scobey’s Kennadi Cromwell responded with a pair of three-pointers for a 24-10 half-time margin.

The scoring of Wilson started the third quarter well for the Bulldogs. Scobey still led 32-15 until Tally Berwicek scored off a pass from Hansen with 2:47 left in the quarter. The Spartans, however, tallied the last seven points of the period to move ahead 39-17. McKenna Nieskens fired in a three-pointer to increase the gap to 42-20 at the end of the third quarter.

Highlights for the Bulldogs in the fourth quarter included a three-pointer by Miah Pippenger and a 15-footer by Wilson, but Scobey won by the 21-point final margin.

Top scorers for Bainville included H. Berwick with nine, Wilson with eight and M. Pippenger with eight. Adding two points each were Butikofer, T. Berwick and Hansen.
