Tennis Players Qualify For State Meet


Wolf Point qualified four athletes for the state tennis meet during the divisional tourney in Baker Thursday, May 13, and Friday, May 14. The doubles team of Jodi Houg and Mikaya Smoker- Dewitt earned first-place honors. They defeated Baker’s Graham/Barkley in the championship match. Wolf Point’s Demi Kegley placed second in singles. Baker’s Tai Setine won the singles’ title.

Wolf Point’s Jewel Olson finished first in three events and was part of a winning relay team during the Gene Nelson Memorial Invitational track meet on Saturday, May 8. Olson, a senior, earned first in the 100 (13.48), 200 (27.52) and 400 (64.05).
