Froid/Lake’s boys’ basketball team gained the upper- hand in the second half to down Brockton, 48-38, in the first-round of the District 2C tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 14. The Red Hawks led by only a 16-15 half-time margin, but Froid/Lake ran off 17 points in the third quarter for a 33-26 advantage. The Culbertson Cowboys fought off Bainville, 23-22, in the opening round of the District 2C tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 14. The game was deadlocked at 16-16 after three quarters of play.
