Bainville Boys Defeat Fusion, 57-37

Bainville’s Samuel Butikofer went off for 27 points as the Bulldogs outscored Richey/Lambert, 57-37, in loser- out action at the District 2C tournament on Friday, Feb. 16.

The Bulldogs accounted for 19 points in the second period to earn a 30-19 halftime advantage.

Leading 44-32 after three quarters of action, Bainville outscored the Fusion by a 13-5 margin in the final period.

S. Butikofer hit 11 of his 19 two-point attempts and two of his seven three-point tries in the victory.

Cayden Boyd and Charles Butikofer scored eight points each. Also scoring were Alex Strickland with six points, Carter Winn with three, Trevor Robertus with three and Isaiah Bjorge with two points.
