Bainville Girls Down Wildcats

A strong second quarter led Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad over Plentywood by a 39-30 final on Friday, Jan. 5.

After leading by an 8-4 margin at the end of the first quarter, the Bulldogs outscored Plentywood 16-2 in the second quarter for a 24-6 advantage.

The Bulldogs held a 30-14 lead entering the fourth period.

Leading Bainville’s attack were Elsie Wilson with 17 and Hailey Berwick with 10 points.

Also scoring were Brecklyn Pippenger with five, Miah Pippenger with three, Tally Berwick with two and Lila Butikofer with two points.

Top scorers for Plentywood were Paityn Curtiss with eight and April McCabe with seven points.
