Medicine Lake Plans All-School Reunion
Medicine Lake is planning its allschool reunion from June 20-22.
Registration runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, June 20. The school will be open for people to walk through. The senior citizen center is available from 1-5 p.m. on both June 20 and June 21.
A kickball tournament begins at 3 p.m. on June 30 at the baseball field. A kids carnival is scheduled from 3-6 p.m. at the school.
The Honker Foundation offers burgers, brats and hot dogs from 5-7 p.m. at the fire hall on June 20. People can make free-will donations for the meal. Sideways will provide live music from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Activities on Saturday, June 21, start with Explore America’s pancake breakfast at the school cafeteria from 7-11 a.m. The 5K Honker Hike starts at the fire hall at 8:30 a.m.
The parade is scheduled for noon on Saturday. Line-up begins at 11:30 a.m. at Sheridan Electric.
Fun on Saturday includes a cornhole tournament beginning at 2 p.m. and a petting zoo sponsored by Rough Riders 4-H Club from 3-6 p.m. There will be a cake walk beginning at 3 p.m. at the senior citizen center.
A meal catered by Bad Betty’s BBQ is from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday. The Plowed Under Bank will entertain with live music from 8 p.m. to midnight.
A breakfast will be provided by the Medicine Lake Lutheran Church at the fire hall from 8:30-10:30 a.m. on Sunday. Ralph Summers will give a church service starting at 11 a.m. at the fire hall.
