Red Hawks Compete In Sidney

The Froid/Lake Red Hawks put together strong efforts during the Sidney Invitational on Friday, April 18.

Cody Olson earned fifth place in the javelin with a best of 134-4.

Joseph Robertson finished eighth in the 1600 with a time of 5:22.95.

The boys’ 400-meter relay team featuring Rylan Young, Eduardo Orozco, Robertson and Olson took ninth at 50.04.

Personal bests for the boys’ squad included Olson in the 100 and Young in the long jump.

In the girls’ division, Mara Salvevold finished eighth in the 200 at 29.16 seconds. Jordyn Breuer was eighth in the 800 at 2:47.48. Joelle Davidson was 10th in the 800 at 2:48.25 and 10th in the high jump by clearing 4-4.

Personal bests included Breuer in the 800, Davidson in the 800 and Keira Stentoft in the 1600.
