Junior High Athletes Place In Lambert
Athletes from Culbertson, Bainville and Froie/Lake were among the participants at the middle school track meet in Lambert on Thursday, April 28.
Culbertson scored 27.5 points in the girls’ division and 29.5 points in the boys’ division.
Culbertson’s Plenny Williams took first in the discus. Conway First That Walks earned first in the 50 and fifth in the 400. Josh Firemoon was fifth in the 200.
Gerald Happ finished sixth and Cord Snyder was ninth in the 50. Brooks Solem took fourth in the 200-meter hurdles, fifth in the discus and ninth in the 400.
The 400-meter relay team of Josh Firemoon, Williams, Charles Firemoon and Solem finished fourth. Logan Berwick took fourth in the discus. Jonas York was eighth in the 1600 and 10th in the 800. Will Salvevold In the girls’ division, Harper Anderson placed second in the 50, seventh in the 100 and eighth in the 400. Trinity Pirkle took ninth in the 50.
Rebekah Ellerkamp earned second in the 1600 and seventh in the 800. Aubry Salvevold placed eighth in the 800 and 10th in the 400. Catherine Donaldson took ninth in the 800 and fifth in the 1600. Ivy Colvin earned 10th in the 200.
Ayden Ator placed fourth in the discus. Kalia Featherston took fifth in the shot put. Peyton Labatte finished eighth in the 100-meter hurdles. The 400-meter relay team of Labatte, Ellerkamp, Donaldson and Colvin finished eighth. Bainville accounted for 36 points in the girls’ division and 22 points in the boys’ division.
Bainville’s Rowan Wilson took second in the 800 and second in the 1600. Parker Berwick was third in the discus. Kaiden Holmes took third in the 1600 and sixth in the discus. Charity Wilbanks took fourth in the discus.
In the girls’ division, Hailey Berwick earned first in the 400, 100 and 200.
Lila Butikofer took first in the shot put. Addy Hanson was third and Emmalyn Anderson took sixth in the shot put.
Hansen captured first in the discus. Butikofer was third and Anderson placed sixth.
Sienna Martinez was ninth in the 100 and third in the 800.
Froid/Lake finished with 35.5 points in the girls’ division and 24 points in the boys’ division.
The boys’800-meter relay team of Jacob Nordlund, Eli James, Taven Jochim and Carsen Kelm finished second.
Olson took thid in the 100 and fourth in the 200. Aaron Orozco finished fourth in the 50.
The 400-meter relay team of Jhett Davidson, Gabrielle Aliganga, Orozco and Taven Jochim placed 10th.
In the girls’ division, Camri Salvevold took second in the shot put and discus. Ally Johnson placed fourth in the shot put and third in the discus. Sam Ausdin took sixth in the discus.
Keira Stentoft was fourth in the 100 and fourth in the 200. Leah Murray finished eighth in the 200. Ella Roeder was seventh in the 50.
Vala Gregor was fourth in the 1600 and Joelle Davidson took fifth in the 800.
The 800-meter relay team of Stentoft, Jordyn Breuer, Murray and Isabelle Nordwick placed third. The 400-meter relay team of Laytyn Davidson, Breuer, Angie Clark and Roeder finished second. The relay team of Ausdin, Brielle Britton, Haven Martensen and Lillie Barrick took ninth.
