Bulldogs Score Win Over Wildcats, 50-32

The Bainville Bulldogs kept their winning ways going with a 50-32 boys’ basketball victory in Circle on Saturday, Jan. 8.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 10-8 lead in the first quarter as Ayden Knudsen and Alex Strickland each connected on three-pointers.

Bainville enjoyed a 27-18 half-time advantage.

The Bulldogs struck for 16 points in the third quarter for a 43-27 margin. Knudsen scored 14 points and hit four three-pointers in the period.

Top scorers were Knudsen with 17 and Jesse Strickland with 12 points.

Also scoring were Sam Butikofer with eight, Chuck Butikofer with five, Alex Strickland with five and Braeden Romo with three.

Romo finished with 14 rebounds.

Beau Beery led Circle with eight points. Seth Dyk and Jace Curtiss added seven points each.

The Bulldogs will play at Froid/Lake on Thursday, Jan. 13, and host Fairview on Saturday, Jan. 15.
