Runners Enjoy Good Showing In Poplar
Culbertson/Bainville runners kept improving their times during the Poplar Invitational held on Saturday, Sept. 4.
On the girls’ side, Kayli Olson led the way by taking 14th place with a time of 23:53.31.
Destiny Thompson placed 24th with a time of 26:23.08.
Sam Palmer finished 38th at 27:14.78. Megan Granbois took 40th at 27:25.28.
In the boys’ division, freshman Bridger Salvevold placed 19th at 20:29.98. James Kirkaldie took 27th at 21:49.72.
Nyreece Halvorson placed 32nd at 22:25.24. Wyatt Snyder finished 33rd at 22:37.05.
Drae Nelson finished 35th at 22:58.27. Mark Kirkaldie took 37th at 23:20.26. Isaiah Bighorn placed 45th at 25:07.75.
Travor Green took 49th at 26:13.05. Maurice Bighorn placed 51st at 26:17.83. Payton Perkins finished 52nd at 26:55.28.
Culbertson /Bainville placed sixth in the team standings with 139 points.
The team will compete at the Scobey Invitational Sept. 9.
