RMC Plans Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
After nearly a year, the final touches are being completed on the building remodel project at Roosevelt Medical Center.
An outdoor ribbon cutting ceremony and open house celebration is set to take place on Thursday, Sept. 9, from 4-6 p.m. behind RMC at the new clinic entrance and gazebo, in Culbertson.
A short ceremony will take place at 5 p.m. with staff-guided tours available throughout the event.
Hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be available as well as giveaways.
The remodel project created a new and separate clinic entrance and relocated all patient services upstairs into one area to improve patient flow and isolation capabilities with special attention to respiratory and infectious disease patients.
“The goal of the project is to more safely manage care of Covid-19 patients and other infectious disease patients while minimizing public outpatient traffic areas longterm care patients occupy,” said Audrey Stromberg, administrator.
The completed project cost 3.2 million and was paid for through federal Covid-19 federal relief funds.
The event is free and the public is encouraged to attend.
