Bulldogs Down Nashua
The Bainville Bulldogs knocked off Nashua for a home volleyball victory on Friday, Sept. 3.
The Bulldogs won by a 2523, 25-12, 25-16, final.
Lakyn Rabbe led the Bulldogs with 10 kills. Kaitlyn Adkins accounted for 12 assists and four digs.
Kendra Romo served four aces. Elsie Wilson had one block.
Bainville Bulldogs took Fairview to five sets before dropping the away volleyball match on Thursday, Sept. 2.
“It was a really fun match,” Bainville coach Kallie Clarke said. “We know we need to clean up our serving going forward and that will be a focus for us.”
After Fairview won the first set by a 25-21 margin, Bainville earned the next two sets by scores of 25-16 and 2521. Fairview took the last two sets by 25-20 and 15-9 margins.
“The girls played as a team and battled through every rally,” Clarke said. “Fairview just played more consistent toward the end of sets.”
Leading Bainville’s attack were Brecklyn Pippenger and Elsie Wilson with nine kills each. Wilson finished with two blocks.
Leaders in assists were Kendra Romo with 12 and Kaitlyn Adkins with eight. Adkins and Hallie Iverson each served four aces.
Lakyn Rabbe had six digs.
The Bulldogs will play at MonDak on Thursday, Sept. 9, and at North Country on Friday, Sept. 10.
