Poplar Drops Football Game In Plentywood

Poplar’s football squad fell by a 52-6 final in Plentywood on Saturday, Sept. 10. The Indians’ touchdown came on a pass from Kameron Reum to Adrien Mattuck. Lois Longtree

Lois Longtree, 74, died Wednesday Sept. 7, 2022, in Poplar. She was born Aug. 17, 1948, to Gladys Jones Lewis and Stanley Crowe in Poplar. As the oldest, she would later welcome sister Pauline Lewis and brothers Stanley Crowe IV, Curt and David Lewis. She married Dale Longtree in the 1970s. Throughout their years together, they loved and cherished their children, Stanley Paul, Carolyn, Eugene, Stacey, Matthew, Fred Crowe-Longtree. She devoted her time to helping and visiting her many relatives across the reservation, whether it was lobbying for her relatives or a friend in need at the Fort Peck Tribal Board or another community
