Poplar Drops Football Game In Plentywood

Poplar’s football squad fell by a 52-6 final in Plentywood on Saturday, Sept. 10.

The Indians’ touchdown came on a pass from Kameron Reum to Adrien Mattuck.

Poplar entered the game missing two of its running backs due to injuries.

“Our fullback and junior Gage Berg stepped up and assumed those roles,” Poplar Coach Joe Hammar said. “Freshman Travis Pribbernow stepped up and filled the fullback position on late notice and did great.”

Sophomore center/nose tackle Walker Burshia put together a solid game. He finished the game at running back for the Indians.

Poplar is scheduled to host Fairview on Thursday.
