Dear Editor: The report in your paper concerning my remarks about the possible acquisition of the 700 square feet of the lot adjacent to ours concerning what I offered to pay is out of context. Mayor Dschaak commented in jest that the property should be worth $2,000 and I in jest replied $20. If approved, we would expect to pay fair market value. Bill Juve

Former area resident Santana Ledeau has been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of assault on a peace officer and one count of criminal endangerment in Cascade County district court. According to law enforcement officials, Ledeau was involved in a chase on Monday, Oct. 17, that started in Great Falls and ended in Simms.
