Poplar’s Angelina Escarcega earned first-place honors at the Great Falls CMR Holiday Classic during the weekend. Escarcega won a 7-2 decision over Simms’ Hayley Petersen in the title match at 107 pounds. Escarcega pinned Corvallis’ Kaelynn Vanderpool in 2:24 during the semi-final round. Escarcega pinned Billings Skyview’s Danyka Doll in 23 seconds during the quarter-final round.
