After Medicaid Coverage Loss, Insurance Campaign Launches In State
A record number of people are using services at the Missoula Food Bank and Community Center, and medical costs are the No. 2 reason they need help, according to the food bank director.
“Thirty percent are saying medical costs are the reason they are experiencing food insecurity today,” said Amy Allison-Thompson, executive director of the food bank; she said housing is the No. 1 reason.

Lilley Signs With Dawson Community College
Poplar High School’s basketball standout Delray Lilley has signed a letter of intent to play the sport at Dawson Community College in Glendive.
Lilley is a two-time Class B All-State selection. He went over the 1,000 point career scoring mark during his senior year.
“It’s a good program that develops players,” Lilley said of playing at DCC. “It’s a winning program.’

Walleyes Chapter Celebrates 38th Annual Banquet In Wolf Point
The Wolf Point Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited held its 38th annual banquet at the Wolf Point Elks Event Center on Saturday, April 6.
Highlight of the evening was the presented to Doug Hopson in honor of the late Nancy Hopson as Angler of the Year. The announcement created a standing ovation from the sell-out crowd.
