Red Hawks Take Fourth At Divisional Track Meet


The Froid/Lake Red Hawks struck for 60 points in the boys’ standings for fourth place at the Eastern C divisional track meet in Lambert on Thursday, May 18. In the girls’ division, the Red Hawks took 11th place with 14 points. Froid/Lake’s boys ran to a first-place finish in the 400-meter relay with a time of 46.52 seconds. FWP To Fix Mistake In Moose, Sheep Draw


HELENA – A mistake in last week’s drawing for some moose and big horn sheep licenses will result in fewer licenses issued than were originally drawn. The mistake occurred when quotas were incorrectly entered into the drawing system by licensing staff and resulted in more licenses being drawn in some districts than what the quota dictated. Froid High School senior Alyssa Nordlund is already a bit of a small business owner. Last summer, she started selling items out of a food truck that her family created out of an old horse trailer. Her items for sale including cheesy fries, breakfast burritos and slush drinks were a hit at both the Roosevelt County Fair and a barrel race in Wolf Point. She plans to attend additional events
