The Bainville Bulldogs lost both District 2C basketball contests against Plentywood on Friday, Feb. 2. In the girls’ contest, Plentywood fought off the Bulldogs by a 41-33 final. The Bulldogs gained a 13-8 lead in the first quarter. The game was deadlocked at 16-16 at the half. Plentywood moved ahead 26-21 in the third quarter. Savage held a 17-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 31-20 half-time margin. The Warriors increased the margin to 45-30 in the third period.
