Red Hawks Fall Just Short In Semi-Final Round Game
The Froid/Lake Red Hawks came a play or two and a point away from pulling off a playoff upset on Saturday, Nov. 12. Despite a fantastic effort by the Red Hawks, Broadview/Lavina escaped with a 35-34 home semi-final football victory in six-man action.

Bainville Adds New Scoreboard
Basketball fans of Bainville and their opponents will enjoy the new scoreboard in the school’s gym this season.
The large scoreboard features the ability to keep track of each players’ points and fouls.
With the new shot clock rule by the Montana High School Association, Bainville now also has shot clocks and the backboard lights up when the time expires.

Cowboys’ Season Ends In Semi-final Round Against Belt
Culbertson’s outstanding football season experienced a tough ending when the Cowboys lost at Belt, 38-0, in the semi-final round of the state eight-man playoffs on Saturday, Nov. 12.
The Cowboys accounted for a couple of scoring opportunities in the first half, but they were unable to reach the end zone.

Cowboys Roll On With Quarter-final Win Over Superior
The Culbertson Cowboys realized to have success in their quarter-final round playoff game against Superior, they were going to need to rely on the running attack led by tailback Kobe Nickoloff and fullback Justice Bengochea.
Nickoloff finished with 266 rushing yards and Bengochea added 113 yards. The result was the Cowboys scoring a 56-34 victory.

Red Hawks Stop Valier To Earn Playoff Victory
The Froid/Lake Red Hawks appear to be peaking at the right time as they crushed Valier, 44-8, in a quarter-final round football playoff game on Saturday, Nov. 5.
“We just played a complete game, everybody did their job,” Froid/Lake Coach Michael Reiter said. “We ran the ball the way we wanted to and our defense played great.”

Froid/Lake Takes Third At Divisional Tournament
The great comeback run by the Froid/Lake Red Hawks came to an end in the second-place match at the Eastern C divisional volleyball tournament in Culbertson on Saturday, Nov. 5.
The Red Hawks came away with the third-place trophy at the divisional tournament.
North Country edged the Red Hawks by a 25-16, 25-19, 19-25, 13-25, 15-9, final.

Red Hawks Fall Against Circle
The Froid/Lake Red Hawks dropped a tough five-set battle against Circle during Eastern C divisional volleyball action in Culbertson on Thursday, Nov. 3. Circle came away with a 21-25, 25-15, 25-19, 20-25, 16-14, win.
Down two sets to one, Froid/Lake trailed 8-5 in the fourth set until two tips and a block by Baylee Davidson produced a 9-8 lead.
