Bulldogs Post Victories At Tournament


Bainville’s volleyball squad knocked off Frazer and Lustre Christian during loser-out play at the District 1C tournament in Plentywood on Friday, Oct. 27. The Bulldogs downed Frazer by a 25-1, 25-12, 25-19 final. Kendra Romo accounted for 23 assists in the victory. Brecklyn Pippenger finished with two aces, 16 kills and three blocks. Hailey Berwick had nine aces and five kills.

Red Hawks Prepare For Football Playoff Run


The Froid/Lake Red Hawks tuned up for the playoffs with a 66-24 senior night football victory over Terry on Saturday, Oct 21. Froid/Lake will host Shields Valley in the first round of the playoffs at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28. Shields Valley is the third seed from the Southern C. The Rebels have a 6-2 record including losses against Bridger, 55-29, and Custer/ Hysham/Melstone, 58-6.

Too many turnovers committed by the Bulldogs along with a sharp passing attack by MonDak spelled trouble for Bainville’s football team on Thursday, Oct. 19. In a game with playoff implications, the Bulldogs fell by a 40-14 final at home. Bainville trailed by only a 14-8 half-time margin and 20-8 early in the third quarter.
