Poplar’s incoming senior Cammie played at the Native American Basketball Invitational tournament held in Phoenix, Ariz. The Rockettes Elite had a record of 3-2 in the tournament. The team consisted of players from Montana, North Dakota and Washington. averaged 10.4 points, six rebounds and four steals per game. The tournament featured more than 1,000 high school girls.

The Poplar and Wolf Point AAU Golf Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, July 26, at the Wolf Point Airport Golf Club.
Entry fee is $20 for 12 and under and $30 for older divisions. Having an AAU card is required but is not included in the entry fee.
Age divisions for males and females include 10-12 years old, 13-15, 16-18, 19-35, 36-50 and 51-above.
Medals will be given to the top three

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will host a free Project Wild Teacher Professional Development at Fort Peck Interpretive Center on Friday, Aug. 1, from 4 to 10:30 p.m.
Included is an evening field experience with an FWP bat biologist at the Fort Peck Downstream Campground.
FWP staff will lead a fun, hands-on training for teachers including the award-winning Project Wild curriculum and FWP
