The Cowboy Palace Arena is excited to announce that they had its first competition in more than 23 years. October through April, They are having gymkhana series for the whole family. The first gymkhana was Oct. 26. There were 12 participants in a total of nine events plus a mystery event. The events include: barrel racing, flag race, stakes race, pole bending, ribbon race, keyhole, goat tying,

The Red Ribbon Run attracted many area athletes this year. The runners from each school who went the longest distances were honored by the Spotted Bull Recovery Center.
