Poplar Drops Challenge Game To Glasgow


Poplar’s girls’ basketball team’s exciting run in the Northern B divisional tournament came to an end with a 43-26 loss against Glasgow in a challenge game held in Wolf Point on Monday night. The Indians held a 16-14 half-time advantage and were able to increase the margin to 21-16 on a fast-break basket by Braelyn Nordwick and a three-point play by Frankie Gourneau early in the third quarter.

Indians Open Tourney With Win Over Choteau


Poplar’s boys’ basketball team left little doubt in its opening-round game against Choteau at the Northern B divisional tournament in Shelby on Thursday, March 5. The Indians earned a 2413 lead in the first quarter en route to the 73-56 victory. The Indians accounted for eight of the game’s first 10 points on baskets by Chasen Pribbernow, Dane Moran, Chance Pribbernow and Ryder Olson.
