The International Poplar River and Big Muddy Creek Task Force will host a third public meeting to talk about water in the basin. This virtual meeting will be hosted on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at noon following two public meetings held in-person in Scobey, and Coronach, Saskatchewan, in June. The task force will share updates on current reporting in the basin and the work of the task force to date.

Four very successful Montana coaches highlighted the Building Warriors On and Off The Court basketball clinic and camp held at the Thundering Buffalo Wellness Center in Poplar for four days last week. A wrestling camp featuring Eastern Oregon University’s Coach Dustyn Azure is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 1, and Saturday, Aug. 2, at Wolf Point High School. The morning sessions, 9:30 a.m. to noon, are for wrestlers in grades K-5.
