Summers Prepares To Run In Montana Mile

Wolf Point native Peyton Summers has been selected again to take part in the Montana Mile at the Big Sky State Games on Friday, July 17.

Summers will represent Wolf Point and Dawson Community College. The event features some of the state’s fastest high school, college and post-collegiate distance runners.

Other male runners will include Anthony Ackerman of Glendive/Black Hills State; Ase Ackerman of Glendive/ Montana State - Billings; Benonaiah Bird of Hardin High School; Bryon Fanning of Three Forks/Montana Tech; Tyler Inabnit of Missoula/ Montana Tech; Thomas Oylear of Ashland/Black Hills State; Auston Schellig of Joliet/Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Owen Smith of Billings/Montana State University; Carson Steckelberg of Bozeman/ University of Montana; and Caleb Tomac of Havre/Rocky Mountain College.

Female competitors will include Jane Allen of Billings West High School; Karis Brightwings-Pease of Billings Central High School; Kamryn Comba of Idaho Falls/Montana Tech; Mary Felig of Broadus/ Montana State - Billings; Ava Greenwell of Billings/ Colorado Christian; Natalie Hodgskiss of Choteau High School; Addison Kegel of Billings Central High School; Ali Keith of Billings/ California State University Monterey Bay; and Gracyn Rock of Billings/Montana State - Billings.

This is the third time that Summers will run in the Montana Mile.
