Lustre Enjoys Strong Showing At Season’s First Action
The Lustre Christian Lions kicked off their track season in impressive fashion at the Glasgow Invitational on Friday, April 1.
The Lions earned fifth place in the boys’ standings with 82 points. The only Class C school with more points was Plentywood with 92. The top three boys’ teams at the meet were Havre with 214, Malta with 162 and Glasgow with 158.

Poplar Earns High Places During Glasgow Invitational
The Poplar Indians enjoyed a strong start to their track season at the Glasgow Invitational on Friday, April 1.
Poplar’s boys placed eighth in the team standings with 52 points. Havre topped the standings with 214 points followed by Malta with 162 points and Glasgow with 158 points.
Poplar’s girls took 10th with 42 points. Plentywood won the team title with 194.33 points followed by Savage

Frazer Starts Track Campaign
The Frazer Bearcubs starts their track season at the Glasgow Invitational on Friday, April 1.
Highlights for Frazer’s boys included Jonathan Jackson taking ninth in the 110-meter hurdles, The 400-meter relay team of Malaki Smoker, Jackson, Christopher Fox and Blue Fettig finished in 13th place with a time of 57.37 seconds.

Lady Wolves Score Victories On Tennis Courts
The Wolf Point tennis squad began its campaign with action in Chinook at Friday, April 1, and at home against Baker on Saturday, April 2.

Wolf Point Cheerleaders To Attend Great Northern Championships
Wolf Point will be represented at the state level in April when the Wolves’ cheerleaders compete at the Great Northern Cheer and Dance Championships in Helena on April 9.
Advisor Nellie Garfield said it’s an exciting time for the program because Wolf Point High School’s cheerleaders haven’t been to the competition in about 10 years.

The Wolf Point golf team is taking advantage of the warm spring weather by having early practices outside.
Coach Rodney Paulson is thankful for the nicer than normal weather during pre-season practices.
