The Bainville Bulldogs accounted for 23 points in the second quarter and captured a 71-45 home victory over Culbertson on Friday, Dec. 17. Bainville led by only a 14-10 margin at the end of the first period and then increased its lead to 37-19 at the half. The Bulldogs struck for 19 more points in the third quarter for a 56-30 advantage. Jesse Strickland scored 26 points to lead the Bulldogs.

The Culbertson Cowgirls enjoyed a strong start and earned a 61-31 basketball victory in Bainville Friday, Dec. 17. The Cowgirls jumped out to a 17-4 advantage during the first quarter of the contest. Lustre Christian’s boys’ basketball team defeated Culbertson by a 73-31 final in Lustre on Saturday, Dec. 18. The Lions jumped out to a 21-6 advantage during the first quarter of action. Lustre increased its lead to 43-18 in the second period. Kolden Hoversland led the Lions with 29 points. Braden Ewing and Cayden Klatt added 12 points each. Also scoring for Lustre were Elijah Lenihan
