Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Report
The Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office responded to 64 calls from Nov. 17-21.
The calls included the following: Nov. 17
Deputies responded to Poplar’s tribal housing for a report of a female assaulting another female. They were fighting over some property. Hailey Longtree, 23, was arrested on authority of a warrant and taken to tribal jail.

Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 0.3 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.99/g on Monday, Nov. 24, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Cyndi Johnson, a wheat farmer from Conrad, was re-elected as president of the Montana Farm Bureau Federation during the organization’s 106th annual convention which ran Nov. 17-20 in Missoula. Voting delegates from 29 county Farm Bureaus elected new leaders and discussed and voted on policy during their Delegates Session.

Montana State University’s Mark and Robyn Jones College of Nursing and the Montana State University Alumni Foundation recently received a Blue Impact Grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana.
The $43,685 grant, awarded in August, will help the nursing college collaborate with clinical agencies in rural areas to develop a post-graduate transition-to-practice program for advanced practice
