Culbertson Town Council Considers Water Pits Lease


The Culbertson Town Council held its regular meeting on Monday, April 13. JR Ewing, Magnus Services LLC, spoke to the council about leasing two freshwater storage pits for local fracking operations. The council decided to table Ewing’s offer of $25,000 for a six month to one year provisional lease. With approximately 100 well sites expected to become operational locally in the next year, Mayor
