Maggie Cheryl LongTree, died June 27, 2026, at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital in Glasgow. She was born Aug. 16, 1953, in Poplar to Esther Melbourne and John LongTree Jr. Her life was marked by quiet strength, creativity and a deep devotion to family and friends. After spending her early years at the Montana State Children’s School in Twin Bridges until 1971, she made her home in Glasgow where she raised her children, Jennifer and Cheyenne Limberhand. She found joy in simple pleasures such as handcrafting star quilts that warmed both beds and hearts, laughing over bingo nights and gathering at Oasis with the many friends she cherished. Her greatest delight was time with family: sharing stories, hugs and laughter with grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought light to her days. She is survived by her son, Cheyenne Limberhand; brother, Gordon LongTree; sister, Myra LongTree; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer Limberhand; brothers, Alan and Mark LongTree; sisters, Eugenia Jackson- Warclub and Linda Rae; and life partner, Tony Jones. A viewing was held on Wednesday, July 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bell Mortuary in Glasgow. Her funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, at Bell Mortuary. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.

'Aminiasi 'Tim' Tatafu ‘Aminiasi Tonga Tatafu (aka Tim), 63, of Malta died Wednesday, June 24, 2026. He was born July 27, 1962, to 'Ailine Naitoko Tatafu of Kolomotu'a and Timote Tanakitau Tatafu of Niuatoputapu, Kingdom of Tonga, South Pacific. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Terry; and a proud father to his children, Levi Tatafu, Jason Tatafu, Bryan Tatafu, Brianna Shores, Quint Olson and Curt Olson. He is also survived by his sisters, Alisi Tatafu Kane and Lily Moore; brother, Timote Jr. Tatafu; and numerous grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Tanakitau Tatafu. Above all else, he cherished his family and found his greatest joy in the moments spent together. Known for his unwavering faith, kind heart, steady presence, sense of humor and generosity, he touched the lives of many. His funeral service was held Friday, July 3, at the Wilderness Funeral Home in Malta.
