Stepplers Sweep Titles In Brockton

Culbertson’s Anna Steppler and Cal Steppler each ran to first-place showings at the Brockton Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19. Anna Steppler, a sophomore, posted a time of 22:35.7 to top the field in the girls’ division.

Culbertson’s girls placed third in the team standings with 27 points. Scobey earned first with 17 points.

Jaclynne Taberna earned seventh place with a time of 25:16.2.

Rebekah Ellerkamp took 28th at 30:38.2. Eleanor Iversen was 41st at 32:57.2.

Culbertson took fourth in the team standings with 32 points.

Arlie Purvis earned 19th place at 23:09.7. Trust Magwaba placed 37th at 24:42.7.

Logan Telck took 28th at 25:32.0. Soren Batt was right behind in 29th at 25:32.3. Roman Emerson placed 39th at 29:21.0.

The team will compete at the Frazer Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 24, and the Plentywood Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26.
