Carol DeMarrias, 73, of Brockton died Oct. 11, 2025. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel in Wolf Point. Her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at the Wolf Point Community Hall. Interment will follow at the Fort Kipp Cemetery. Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel of Wolf Point was entrusted with the arrangements.

Average gasoline prices in Montana have fallen 4.9 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.07/g on Monday, Oct. 13, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. The Culbertson/Bainville cross country team had a solid outing in Sidney on Saturday, Oct. 11. Anna Steppler, a freshman, finished in fourth place with a time of 21:17.1. Residential natural gas customers of Montana-Dakota Utilities will be paying $60.54 a month on average after the Public Service Commission approved a rate increase this week. When MDU filed its application for an increase in spring 2024, the average residential customer paid $44.61 a month, according to data from the PSC. The Bulldogs earned a 2523, 25-11, 25-8, league win. “After we loosened up, the girls played much better,” Coach Kallie Clarke said.
