Cowboys Drop Contests In Lambert

Culbertson’s boys’ basketball team dropped both of its contests during the tournament held in Lambert.

The Cowboys fell to Plevna by a 63-33 final on Saturday, Dec. 13.

Culbertson trailed by a 2614 half-time margin and 50-25 after three quarters.

Ian Snyder led the Cowboys with eight points. Also scoring were Kaden Featherston with six, Plenny Williams with five, Brooks Solem with four, Mauricio Mena with four, Cal Steppler with three and Tyler White Cloud with three.

Culbertson lost to Ekalaka, 76-40, on Friday, Dec. 12.

Ekalaka gained a 31-13 lead in the first quarter and held a 47-26 half-time advantage.

Snyder scored 17 of Culbertson’s points. Williams finished with 10 points.

Also scoring were Solem with six, Featherston with three, Steppler with two and White Cloud with two.

The Cowboys will head to Savage on Friday Dec. 19, and host Richey/Lambert on Saturday, Dec. 20.
