Bainville Boys Win Over Trenton

The Bainville Bulldogs took a 10-point lead in the first quarter en route to a 5840 win over Trenton, N.D., at the Border Wars tournament in Watford City, N.D., on Friday, Dec. 12.

The Bulldogs gained a 13-3 advantage in the opening quarter. Parker Berwick tallied four points in the period.

Bainville added 15 points in the second period to increase the gap to 28-14. Highlights of the period were a pair of three-pointers by Kaiden Holmes and nine points by Berwick.

The Bulldogs ran off 21 points in the third quarter to put the margin at 49-25. Holmes scored nine points in the quarter.

Top scorers for Bainville were Berwick with 22 and Holmes with 19 points. Rowan Wilson added nine points and Holden Salivar scored eight points.
